The Role: 
Boss Plant Sales Ltd, a leading distributor of market leading construction equipment, in London and the Home Counties, is looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer.
 
Previous experience working as a mechanic and/or service engineer on heavy plant including excavators, forklifts, rollers, telehandlers, access equipment, lighting towers, and generators is essential.
 
We are looking for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Service and maintenance of construction equipment on-site and in our depot.
• Fault finding and diagnosis including common rail diesel engines.
• Warranty repairs.
• PDI inspections and new machine preparation including making modifications and fitting attachments.

 
The Person:

• Mechanical fitter with previous experience and qualifications suitable to the position.
• Maintenance/fitting background on excavators, forklifts, rollers, generators etc.
• Ability to work without supervision to deadlines and be a good timekeeper.
• A positive attitude and willingness to succeed.
• To be part of the team at a growing company representing some of the best-known manufacturers in the industry.
• Have good communication skills and be customer service focused.
• Be computer literate.
• A full UK driving license is essential.

 
A competitive package will be provided commensurate to the experience of the successful candidate. A company van is also provided.
