Boss Plant Sales directors and staff were delighted to receive a recent visit from Katsuhiko Yukawa, Kubota's Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of the Construction Machinery Division, and Shinsuke Kamada, Manager Product and Marketing Business Unit Kubota Construction Europe.
The visitors are shown above during their visit to Tring with Tony Barnett one of Boss Plant Sales' experienced Area Sales managers. Designed to safely handle large and heavy loads the MHT range of Manitou telehandlers are true heavyweights in the world of rough terrain material handling. Available with a wide range of attachments the MHT machines can tackle the toughest applications in civil engineering, mining, quarrying, and industrial applications. With 4-wheel drive, 3 steering modes, and generous ground clearance any MHT model can work safely and productively on the roughest terrain.
With 6 models in the range with lift capacities from 9.0 to 35 tonnes and lift heights from 6.84 to 13.6 metres the MHT operate at the pinnacle of their product class. The new Ausa DR1001AHG dumper is an innovative 10 tonne machine with a reversible driving position. As well as a newly designed body the dumper is specified with a hydrostatic transmission. The fully glazed, closed cab can quickly and simply rotate 180 degrees, providing a significant increase in visibility for the operator. This improves safety for the operator, as well as for people and objects in the dumper’s surroundings.
In addition to the reversible cab, safety on the new dumper is improved with the use of a front camera, a full ROPS/FOPS cab, a seat belt buckle sensor, two rear-view mirrors and an audible reversing alarm. Electronically, the dumper carries many of the same features as the D601AHG, as it comes with ECO Mode, Smart Stop and Hill Holder technology, as well as a digital screen, incorporating telematic systems data. Along with the introduction of the DR1001AHG, Ausa also recently highlighted a prototype of an all-electric zero-emissions dumper – the D100AHA. With a 1 tonne capacity and an electric power unit, delivering 15 kW, the dumper, according to the company, has enough power to for a full working day. At the end of a shift, the new machine can be connected directly to the mains, with charging taking between four and eight hours, depending on the voltage of the supply. Boss Plant Sales can supply any Ausa dumper, some immediately from stock. Kubota, the leading Japanese construction and farm equipment manufacturer , continues its mission to sustain development by providing technologies to better produce food, supply clean water, and preserve the environment. Two revolutions Two revolutions in food and water boosted human development. First, the mechanization of farming liberated societies from millennia of back-breaking work in the fields and the misery of hunger. With less farmhands necessary, the surplus of human talent moved to cities. These dense urban conglomerations became engines of growth, but also generated pollution and disease. A second revolution in modern waterworks and sanitation then brought these threats under control. These revolutions continue today. Emerging economies across the world are modernizing their agricultural production and building water systems to support burgeoning urban populations. But planetary challenges such as climate change mean smarter solutions will be needed to further these advances. At the frontlines of these challenges is Kubota, a leading Japanese farm equipment and water infrastructure maker. “Since its founding, Kubota has evolved its technologies to contribute in the areas of food, water and the environment which are indispensable to the development of mankind,” says Masatoshi Kimata, President and Representative Director of Kubota. “Looking forward, we will continue on this mission by setting sustainable development goals (SDGs) as our compass.” Our market leading manufacturers are leading the field in digitisation and all the advantages that it brings, saving time and money and improving quality assurance.
They also now provide free Apps which can help run your fleet more efficiently. A few of the best are listed below. BOMAG Service App, BOMAG is a pioneer in the construction equipment market by providing a range of Solutions for customers in the ‘digital age’. The BOMAG Service App, available for Android and iOS devices as a free download, provides customers with the ability to quickly find suitable spare parts, call up operating and maintenance instructions, find where the nearest BOMAG dealer is and have access to informative service videos. A quick scan of the QR code on your BOMAG’s serial number plate is all that’s needed to access a wealth of useful information on the convenient App More here.. BOMAG TELEMATIC is available on iOS, Android and web applications making it both convenient and versatile to use. The advanced POWER system offers the following functions which help users optimise their fleet and control costs:
More here. BOMAP, which simplifies measurement, documentation and control for soil and asphalt compaction. The App is designed to work on standard smartphones and tablets. Machine operators can simply plug their own device, loaded with the App, into the cab rather than having to use special hardware. The judges felt this “bring-your-own-device” approach should make operators feel comfortable using dynamic compaction control systems, making adoption of the technology much easier. With the BOMAP approach, customers can choose how far down the automation route they want to go, from simple roller pass-counting to completely integrated solution that track and document multiple construction jobs, machines and operators. More here. The Directors and staff of Boss Plant Sales would like to welcome the distinguished guests from Kubota to their premises today.
