Ausa exhibited at Plantworx for the first time this year. Their impressive stand featured the innovative DR1001AHG, a 10-tonne dumper with an innovative reversible driving mode. This ground-breaking driving unit can handily rotate 180 degrees, significantly improving visibility, which proportionally increases the safety of the operator and the surrounding area. Thanks to this, AUSA is positioning itself as a market segment leader in the important area of safety. The leader in materials handling, Manitou, had a great stand in a great position at Plantworx. Amongst the many innovations on show was the new MT 420H. The new Buggy MT420 is the most compact telehandler in the Construction range. With its 1.49-metre width, it is small enough for flexible use in urban and indoor applications. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 2 tonnes and can places loads to a height of 4.3 metres. Four-wheel drive/steer give it a turning radius of 1.98 metres. Another manufacturer which always put on a great show is BOMAG, the leaders in compaction technology. The 'design concept' ROBOMAG, shown above, created a huge amount of interest from the many visitors to the stand. BOMAG exhibited a number of different concepts under the theme #THINKFURTHER. The BW 120s shown above are a diesel powered stage 5 machine with DPF, a lower powered diesel machine without DPF, a gas powered prototype and an all electric zero emissions concept machine.
