TriAgg Construction the High Wycombe based groundworks and asphalt surfacing contractor, has placed an order for some 14x Thwaites dumpers, adding them to its growing fleet as the company continues to expand.
The order covers 2 x 6-tonne Swivel & 2 x 1-tonne Hi-tip, then rather interestingly for a UK sale, 10 x T450 (4.5-tonne) machines from the Thwaites ‘T’ Series.
Formed in late 2020 by four partners, all leaving the construction PLC world, to establish a business with the aim of producing on time, on budget, quality work, for quality clients…with the entrepreneurial benefits that move brought.
To help deliver this goal, the TriAgg team decided from the offset, to wholly own and operate a fleet of the latest construction equipment. Thus ensuring, that it was best placed from a safety, technology and performance perspective, to deliver value to its customers and consistency to the company’s operational team. Enabling a familiarity and consistency that would drive performance and reduce risk.
With an established relationship with Thwaites approved distributor Boss Plant Sales, TriAgg were able to access the latest range of dumpers best placed to match the needs of their business. Indeed, it was during these discussions that the Thwaites ‘T’ series of dumpers was discovered.

The ‘T’ series are predominantly, but not exclusively, manufactured for the continental European market, so it was interesting to better understand why TriAgg had chosen products from this range for use here in the UK.
Dave continued…”The use and versatility of the machine is paramount; unlike hirers we are not looking to maximise optimisation and utilisation, but to give our team the best tools for the job. The T-450 from the Thwaites, is a great mid-sized machine for many groundwork tasks. It is the perfect sized (height and weight) dumper, for the job of tipping asphalt into the front of our asphalt pavers. This is an ideal machine for our business and operation”.
This multi dumper deal, was sold via authorised Thwaites distributor Boss Plant Sales based in Hertfordshire and covering Oxfordshire and London.
